Fantasy Lanes is a 24-lane bowling alley inside the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino complex, with lanes rented by the hour, an arcade, and laser bowling on Friday and Saturday nights. An easy evening plan for groups and families. Lanes are first come, first served, so call to check the wait on busy nights.
Eldorado Polo Club has been playing polo in the Coachella Valley since 1957 and has 16 grass fields. Sunday matches run from January to March, with tailgating and bar service. Every viewing option needs a reservation, so book ahead on the club's site.
Our Lazy River Resort home is about 7 minutes from the club.
The StageWorks Foundation carries on the Desert TheatreWorks community theater at the Indio Performing Arts Center on Fargo Street. Its season of musicals, dramas and comedies opens in late September, and it makes a genuine local night out away from the resort scene. Check the current shows and tickets on their site.
Big Rock pairs an 18-hole, par 72 public golf course with a pub on the same property. The course is closed for overseeding from 1pm on October 8 until November 3, 2026, so check before you book a tee time. The pub opens at 11am Monday to Saturday and at 10am on Sunday, with Sunday brunch from 10am to 2pm.
The only night-lit golf course in the Coachella Valley: 18 holes, par 54, at 2,777 yards, plus a driving range, a short-game area and a golf shop. Made for a cooler evening round. The course and practice areas are closed for reseeding from September 28 to October 25, 2026, while the driving range stays open, so call the golf shop to check range times before you go.
Home of the Coachella Valley Firebirds, the American Hockey League affiliate of the Seattle Kraken, and the Coachella Valley Lakers, the NBA G League affiliate of the Los Angeles Lakers. The arena also hosts touring concerts and shows. Next door, the Berger Foundation Iceplex has public skating. Check the calendar against your dates.
